The estate is located in the heart of Honolulu on the side of Diamond Head above Kapiolani Park in an old prestigious kama’aina neighborhood. 

OAHU is the third largest island in the Hawaiian chain and has a population of 905,266.  The average temperature is between 75-85 F. The Honolulu Airport is less than nine miles from the home.

Statistics don’t describe the gentle air and sweet breezes and the aloha spirit that permeates life on these isles.  There is a serenity and peacefulness that is part of the land and is rooted in the nature of its people.  Pu’u Lani is a unique part of this land, close to many attractions yet totally private and secure. It provides peace and nurtures body and soul.

HONOLULU is the vibrant epicenter of Hawaii and the state’s capitol is located seven miles from the home. Iolani Palace near the capitol was the dwelling of the last ruling monarch Queen Liliuokalani and is the only royal palace on United States soil.  Down the street is the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and further along is the Bishop Museum dedicated to preserving the culture and traditions of the Hawaiian people.

Honolulu is home to Chinatown where art galleries, antique dealers, temples, lei makers and historic buildings rub shoulders with a vibrant art scene, bars and clubs. The federal and state courthouses are a short walk away and are located in the heart of downtown.

The Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium and many world-class restaurants are all within walking distance. 

GOLF: The Ala Wai Municipal Golf Course is 1.1 miles from Pu’u Lani. Green fees are $42.00 with half price twilight specials so this is a fun place to play 18 holes and it is a good value.  Other golf courses are nearby including the home of the Sony Open, the Waialae Country Club, the Oahu Country Club, the Honolulu Country Club, the Moanalua Golf Club and the Hawaii Kai Golf Course.  Military veterans have many additional courses to choose from. Further afield, there are dozens more golf courses.

The University of Hawaii, Manoa campus, is located 3.4 miles from the home.  Kapiolani Community College is .7 miles away
